Lord in my Darkness

Be my light,
My strength,
My help and salvation.


When I cry to You, Lord, hear me.
Do not leave me alone in my anguish.
Shed the light of Your truth on my darkness
As I place all my trust in You.


In trials and temptations, help me. 
Shield me from the enemies' assaults.
Do not leave me to my own defences.
But Your grace and Your blessings grant me.
